Creating the Right Environment

Did you know that your environment can reflect on your habits and can influence your choices?

Environment not only comes down to the cleanliness of your room, the organization of your workspace, or just a specific location you're typically in but, it can also relate to lifestyle and the people that you surround yourself with.

If you typically find yourself stressed, take a step back and see what your routine looks like from right when you wake up to the end of the day.

Within those tasks and activities, list out what improves your life and what may hinder it?

How do you create an environment that can lead to success?

Here are some approaches:

  • Make your bed. This simple task can be done to already feel accomplished at the beginning of your day. In addition, when your day ends, you will come to a well prepared bed waiting for you for a good night's sleep.
  • Organize and clean your desk/workspace consistently. Decluttering your desk with unnecessary papers, objects, and having a clean space can help lessen and reduce mental stress. If it starts to get cluttery, make it a habit to clean it up every time you leave so it saves you from deep cleaning in the future.
  • Allow your atmosphere to be inviting. You know when you walk into any store and each store has their own atmosphere/ambiance? If you come home and walk into any room or space, wouldn't you want to feel the same way? That's why make your space/home inviting and pleasant to your liking. Invest in nice furniture, buy plants to place in your space, allow sunlight in, or invest in incense. In fact, look at inspo from Instagram, Pinterest, and/or Tik Tok. You'll thank me later.
  • Friends that push you out of your boundaries vs. friends that you enjoy spending time with. This can be controversial since people do see friends as both but allow yourself to have two different kinds. You will understand the difference between the two. You're lucky if you have friends that have both traits.
  • Revolve around healthy habits. Healthy habits can overflow to other things throughout your day. These can come from replacing doom scrolling in the AM/PM with reading a book (I know, old-fashioned but trust me it works), drinking water instead of your typical sugary drinks with a meal, eating healthier meals to have sustainable energy throughout your day, sleeping early to wake up early for more of your day, and meditation/mindfulness early in the AM to start the day right.

Take note of these and create the right environment for YOU!

This account has some posts that also have some interior design inspo and a different perspective on cars, music, & fashion. This has influenced me to see from another eye and be more open minded on many things.
