The Secret to Staying Consistent
Starting on the path of fitness & wellness can be very exciting. You're introduced to new ways of physical movement, better approaches to your habits, and adjusting to healthier eating, but let's face it - staying consistent can be challenging.
That's where an accountability partner comes in!
With this week's newsletter, the emphasis is leveraging your way on reaching your fitness goals and having someone alongside with you may be the move.
Let's begin!

Who Would Be Considered an Accountability Partner?
An accountability partner is someone who helps keep you on track of your goals if you tend to fall off, acknowledges and celebrates your wins, & encourages you to get through and overcome setbacks. Think of this as someone that you can trust and hold you to your word.
Research shows that having someone to share your goals with increases the likelihood of success. Whether it’s getting in your morning/afternoon workouts, routinely checking in on your progress, or simply sending motivating messages, their support makes an impact and major difference.
How to Find the Right Partner
- Choose someone with similar fitness goals and/or a complementary schedule. For example, you're trying to show up consistently to the gym 3x/week at 6am, your partner would have to also commit to that as well.
- Make sure they’re reliable and positive. This is where if either of you starts to fall off, both of you can lean on each other to get back on track with the right approach.
- Discuss how you’ll support each other (e.g., weekly goal-setting, workout meetups, expectations). Setting the tone and knowing what to expect from each other will make your journey crystal clear. Transparency is key 🔑
